Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related health, human services, or education field
- PLUS 6 credits in early childhood education OR a year of documented experience working with children 0-5 with disabilities.
- Teacher of the Blind or Visually Impaired (certified in NJ)
- Written and verbal communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides services to clients according to treatment plan, evaluates, and maintains records of clients' progress.
- Reports progress to parents. Suggests activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's Early Intervention program. Attempts to add to their understanding of the program and answers questions and addresses concerns they may have about it.
- Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
- Meets with team to review and discuss evaluation of clients' skills as demonstrated in sessions.
- Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.
